Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of mytravelsetup.com and related communications from RankingIn SRL, doing business as My Travel Setup. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

RankingIn SRL is a Costa Rican company that publishes travel information and helps visitors discover tours, private transfers, and sport-fishing experiences in Costa Rica. Brand: My Travel Setup. Contact: contact@mytravelsetup.com.

2. What we provide

The Site offers editorial content, destination guides, and links or referrals to experiences. Many bookable tours and activities are fulfilled by independent operators through third-party booking platforms. Unless we expressly state otherwise in writing, we are not the tour operator, transportation carrier, or fishing charter provider for those third-party products.

3. Third-party bookings

• When you click through to a booking partner and complete a booking, you enter a contract with that partner and/or the local supplier under their terms, cancellation rules, and privacy policy.
• Prices, availability, inclusions, and schedules are set by the partner or supplier and may change.
• Payment is processed by the booking platform — not by this Site.

4. Trip planning assistance

If you contact us for recommendations or quotes, any guidance is informational unless we confirm a separate written agreement. Custom transfer or charter arrangements may involve additional terms communicated by email before confirmation.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Site, attempt unauthorized access, scrape in a way that harms service, submit unlawful or harmful content, or use the Site to violate any law. We may suspend access that we reasonably believe violates these Terms.

6. Intellectual property

Content on the Site (text, branding, layout, and original photography we publish) is owned by RankingIn SRL or its licensors. You may not copy or republish it for commercial use without prior written permission. Third-party trademarks belong to their respective owners.

7. Affiliate relationships

We may earn commissions when you book through affiliate links. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details. Commissions do not increase the price you pay versus booking the same product directly on the partner site under the same offer.

8. Disclaimers

Travel involves risk. Conditions in Costa Rica (weather, roads, wildlife, ocean conditions, volcanic activity, and supplier operations) can change. Information on the Site is provided “as is” without warranties of completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. Always verify details with the booking partner or supplier before travel.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Costa Rican law, RankingIn SRL is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for losses arising from third-party bookings, supplier acts or omissions, travel delays, injuries, or force majeure. Our aggregate liability arising from the Site or these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) fees you paid directly to RankingIn SRL for a specific service in the three months before the claim, or (b) USD $100.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify RankingIn SRL against claims arising from your misuse of the Site or breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica. Courts with jurisdiction in Costa Rica shall hear disputes, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply in your country of residence.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes apply prospectively.
