Travel to Carate, enjoying scenic rainforest views, streams, and possible wildlife sightings along the way. From Carate, begin a guided coastal hike of at least 10 km on mostly flat terrain, with stretches along the beach and crossings of clear rivers and creeks. Your naturalist guide will interpret the region’s rich biodiversity while you take in breathtaking landscapes. Wildlife encounters may include macaws, monkeys, toucans, frogs, snakes, and other rainforest species—so keep your camera ready.
