Arenal volcano is one of 112 volcanoes located in a territory that represents only 0.03 percent of the world mass. With this many volcanic structures you can say that Costa Rica was built by lava and rocks. Besides the trail over the 1968 lava flow, you will be accompanied to walk over a second trail in the forest to look for some of the nature wonders of the park.
